BP2400 Series Central Granulator

The BP2400 Series is one of Sterling's most versatile central granulators, offering horsepower options from 50 through 150 hp with throughput rates ranging from 1800 to 6000 lbs/hr.

Reduced energy consumption is acheived with aTwinshear" "scissor cutting" action knife design, which is more efficient than chopoing motion knife designs. It uses a lower horsepower motor without sacrificing throughput performance.

• Unique rotor and cutting chamber design helps prevent polymer "melt down" and virtually eliminates "end plate smearing"
• End ring (disc) rotates in relationship to the cutting chamber, vastly improving airflow and minimizing frictional heat
• A split chamber provides easy cleanout service and access, reducing cleaout time by 50%
• Exclusive Twinshear" slicing action reduces energy consumption, fines and extends knife life
