SWK WinterKooler Systems

WinterKoolers can be used in areas that have low ambient temperatures (below 10 degrees F). The chiller is replaced by the SWK Winter-Kooler during those times when the temperature is below the rated ambient of the chiller.

The SWK could replace the chiller anytime the ambient is below 40 degrees F and can typically pay for itself in less than 18 months (depending on usage time and electrical costs).

• Energy-efficient fan motors; direct drive fans rotate at 1,140 rpm.
• Thermal overload protection and permanently lubricated ball bearings.
• Fan motor leads wired to weatherproof electrical enclosures for single-point field wiring.
• Fully baffled fan sections for structural strength; prevents fan windmilling during OFF cycles.
• Automatic pump switchover.
• Available in sizes from 20 to 250 tons.
