APEX SA Traverse Robots
Traverse movement, our robots can remove parts from difficult molds and reduce the cost of end of arm tooling. Part drop off can be accomplished with 9 programmable cycle positions and 2 areas for a total of 18 points. This capability can be extended to 99 points with a rapid equal pitch setting, and up to 198 points with an extra cross axis setting. Using the 8 spare output and 5 spare input terminals, the SA robot
can be connected to conveyors, spray mist, shear cutters, sensors, and other machines to become a
complete automation system. The SA robot includes a counter that can be set to drop parts for inspection at regular intervals or to stop operation after a designated quantity has been reached. The robot can also detect reject signals from the injection molding machine and drop reject parts at a designated point.
